\nmaster degree and Engineering diploma. I also hold a master degree from the
\nUniversity of Genova (Italy). My master thesis was realized during an internship at
\nthe INRIA Bordeaux Sud-Ouest laboratory (France) on two-stage robust optimization with

\nmanagement decisions in public transport systems. I hold both a Bachelor's and a

\nin Germany.
\nBesides enjoying beautiful places and great food in Tuscany and Italy in general,

I am Daniel Brosch, one of the PhD-students of Etienne de Klerk at Tilburg University.
\nAt the moment I am working on symmetry reducing semidefinite relaxations of
\nquadratic assignment problems, which basically means that I try to make it easier
\nto get approximations of very hard problems, by exploiting their symmetries and structure.
\nGenerally my mathematical interests are (convex) optimization, combinatorics,
\ngraph theory and algebra. Before moving to the Netherlands I did both
\nmy Bachelor's and Master's degree in Mathematics in Cologne, Germany.
\nOutside of work I enjoy reading, playing badminton, watching shows,
\ndancing, and the occasional video game.<\/p>\n

\nthe field of robust logistics. Beforehand, I analysed robust-stochastic gas networks under demand
\nuncertainty in my master's thesis.
